Just over two months after his inauguration on June 30, 2016, and vows to suppress crime in 3-6 months, now we are bombarded daily with news about killings of alleged drug traffickers. Just recently the bombings occurred in Davao which urged the president to declare a "state of lawlessness". Outrage, grief, mock, condolences, and prayers flooded social media. And some, including another journalist, stand ground against the president. It really can be a positive experience when people have taken to the web to not only air their sympathies, you can have the insights you need to make a better judgment about the current issues. But a lot of times, some people think they know the truth even if it is actually false. While some are not impressed by the president, there are still think what has the president done in the past 3 months is different from other presidents and deserves some recognition.
According to reports, the progress of President Duterte is as follows:
1. Crime rates down suppress the drug trade.
2. Increase in salaries for police and material resources including personnel, cars, arms, and other equipment.
3. Reduce youth involvement with a crime by implementing strict curfew.
4. Stop political corruption.
5. The Philippines wins vs China over the West Philippine Sea
6. Ease the traffic congestion in some parts of Metro Manila and there are more...
Before being elected president of the Philippines if you still remember we got blasted by the news about the plan to impeach Duterte according to Sen. Bongbong Marcos a self-claim victim of election fraud, LP's 'Plan B' to impeach Duterte and be replaced by Leni Robredo, now the Vice President of the Philippines and who has also denied the allegations herself months ago.
"Pag naupo, i-impeach si Duterte na inumpisahan na (When Duterte assumes the presidency, he will be impeached)," the senator said in a rally in Bacoor City.
But Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. said that there was no chance Duterte will be impeached.
The only question under consideration is the removal of the individual from the office can only be removed from office by the houses of the Congress and only for the commission of stated misbehavior right? And when the people also get tired then the President should not be in the office, right?
Those who supported the "Duterte Impeachment Backdoor Scheme" will use dirty tactics such as forging letters to provoke conflict between Philippine’s leaders to another world leader; organizing murders to partially blame the President; initiating a “Black Propaganda” campaign to convince the public that Duterte administration was a threat to national security; using infiltrators to commit crimes that could be in which any police activity so that that the President could be arrested and so on.
I am not certain if this is happening now or going to happen either. But people should be aware of the situation and the way things are.
