TRECE MARTIRES CITY, CAVITE (PIA) -- The peaceful town of Amadeo is home to KCRABBITRY, an evolving business which is increasingly gaining recognition as a viable business venture.

KCRABBITRY is owned and operated by Clifford Calingasan and Katherine Calingasan-Ballesteros both Amadeans.  The business started on February 1, 2011 that coincidentally fell as the Year of the Rabbit and had been featured on various television programs in the country.

To date, the rabbitry boasts of 10 breeds of rabbits namely; New Zealand, California White, American Rabbit, American Sable, Lionhead, Lionlop, Rex, Dwarf, Angora and New Zealand Angora.

Aside from raising/breeding and selling rabbits, KCRABBITRY also produces organic fertilizer made from rabbit droppings which they sell in the market.

Moreover, they also conduct "Rabbits 101", a program giving free seminars to the Amadeans and populace in the nearby towns and provinces, and to some schools and universities.

The Municipality of Amadeo aims for its agri-tourism industry not only to be recognized in a wider understanding but more over for the town to achieve and maintain the reputation of having a good and harmonious environment which it requires to meet.
