Examination Advisory No. 17, s. 2016
ADVISORY
TO : All Examinees of the Suspended October 23, 2016 CSE-PPT in Region II, CAR and Dagupan City
SUBJECT : Reset of the Examination on November 20, 2016
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has approved the resetting of the October 23, 2016 Career Service Examination Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Region II, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and Dagupan City on November 20, 2016. The resetting is in view of the suspension of the October 23, 2016 CSE-PPT implemented in these areas affected due to the onslaught and after-effects of Super Typhoon Lawin.
Please be advised of the following guidelines/procedures which shall govern the November 20, 2016 examination:
1. For examinees of Region II and CAR Examinees concerned shall have the same testing center and school assignment as in the suspended October 23, 2016 CSE-PPT. No request for transfer of testing center and school assignment shall be allowed.
2. For examinees of Dagupan City The testing center shall be transferred to Lingayen City.
CSC Regional Office (RO) No. 1 shall inform examinees concerned of their new school assignment at the Lingayen Testing Center.
If the examinees still do not receive any information on their school assignment one week before examination day, they should verify or inquire DIRECTLY with CSCRO No. 1 at telephone numbers (072) 700-5639 and (072) 205-0081, or with the CSC Field Office-Lingayen at telephone number (075) 529-9394.
3. All examinees concerned shall no longer be required to register again. The general admission rules shall apply on examination day (November 20, 2016). Examinees should bring the following items:
  • I.D. card (preferably the same I.D. card presented during filing of application for the suspended October 23, 2016 CSE-PPT. If the I.D. card to be presented for admission is different from the I.D. card presented during filing of application, the examinee must present any of the other accepted ID cards, in which case, the I.D. card must be valid (not expired);
Note: - “No I.D., No Exam” - GATES OF TESTING VENUES SHALL BE CLOSED AT EXACTLY 7:30 a.m.. Examinees who arrive later than 7:30 a.m. shall NOT be admitted.
  • Original of Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority, or the Local Civil Registry printed on Security Paper (only if I.D. card has no date of birth);
  • Application Receipt with corresponding Official Receipt (if available);
  • Notice of School Assignment generated thru the Online Notice of School Assignment (if available);
  • Black ball pen/s; and
  • Water, or preferred beverage (except alcoholic beverage) placed in clear/transparent container, and/or candies/biscuits, which shall be subject to inspection by the Room Examiner/Proctor.
4. All examinees concerned shall only be given one chance to take the rescheduled examination free of charge. Those who would not be able to take the November 20, 2016 CSE-PPT shall have their examination fee and slot forfeited. Any request for postponement/another rescheduling shall not be allowed. For this matter, they shall file a new application for the next schedule of CSE-PPT and pay the corresponding examination fee.
