Memorandum of Agreement for Electronic Payment Portal (ePP)
MANILA - The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) has partnered in extending convenient and efficient services to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in terms of online payment transactions thru ePayment Portal (ePP).

OWWA Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac and LBP President and CEO Alex V. Buenaventura recently signed the Memorandum of Agreement that states Landbank’s ePP, an internet-based payment system, shall be made accessible to Balik Manggagawa OFWs for convenient and reliable online payment of their contributions.

Thru the ePP, Balik Manggagawa OFWs may transact or pay their OWWA membership contributions via internet using any payment options offered by Landbank and track their online financial funds for accountability and fraud prevention.

Landbank ePP was the first e-payment portal provided by OWWA to its clients as part of modernization of its facilities and services in bringing fast and efficient alternative payment for OWWA membership collection services.

The ceremonial signing was witnessed by Labor Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III and LBP Senior Vice President Liduvino S. Geron at DOLE Building, Intramuros, Manila.

“This collaboration with LBP is envisioned to provide OWWA members with faster and more accessible means of renewing their membership to ensure their protection while working overseas. We, at OWWA, believe that we should use the available technology to our advantage, that is why we are working hard to integrate it in our programs to enhance service delivery to our OFW-clients,” OWWA Administrator Cacdac said.
