Philippines, known for its exotic beaches, scenic islands, amazing volcanoes and unique wildlife is a beautiful country to visit. Philippines tourist destinations provide its tourists with a great and unique experience.

Philippines, a Southeast Asian country is famous for its exotic beaches, scenic islands, world-class diving spots, amazing volcanoes and unique wildlife. Philippines tourist destinations make Philippines favorite destination for honeymooners, nature lovers and adventure seekers from all around the world.

Manila is the capital of Philippines which is home to many century-old churches, classic plaza, stately museums, historic monuments, gallant forts and ancestral edifices. Manila is a modern city with many commercial centers. Some popular places of attractions in Manila are; Manila Cathedral, San Augustin Church, ruins of Fort Santiago, American Cemetery and Coconut Palace. Boracay Island is one of the best swimming destinations in the world. It has crystal-clear water with talcum powder-fine sand beaches. This place is perfect for fishing, sailing, swimming and sunbathing. Luzon is the most northerly and largest of the main islands. It has a coastline dotted with caves; landscape is made of mountainous regions, and has lakes and volcanoes in the southern peninsula. Makati city is the financial capital of Philippines. It has many modern skyscrapers and trendiest leisure spots like bars, hotels, fashion boutiques, music lounges and restaurants.

Baguio is a cool escape from summer heat with many restaurants, walking excursions and mountain views. Some of the popular attractions of Baguio are; Bell Church, Crystal Caves, Baguio Cathedral and the Mansion. Binondo Area is home of Chinatown. In this district you will get to see Buddhist temples, can feast on delicious Pecking Duck and snake soups and can also buy gold watches. Particularly Ongpin is known to have a variety of Kung-fu schools, traditional medicine shops, bakeries, acupuncture clinics, jewelers, grocery stores, restaurants, pet shops, and mahjong parlors.

Cebu is the most densely populated island in Philippines. It is a commercial center with an international harbor. Some of the important places to visit in Cebu are; The Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro, Carcar Town, The Chapel of the Last Supper in Mandaue City and many more. Sagada is the Mountain Province Town which is situated in the west of Bontoc. It has unexplored forests, towering limestone cliffs and subterranean caves. Some important places to visit in Sagada are; Calvary Hill, Alipine Lake Banao, Kitongan bottomless pit and Bukong Falls. Places like these attract many tourists which make Philippines tourist destinations ideal for vacations.

Philippines cuisine is a combination of Asian spices and European subtleness. Traditionally rice is the staple food which is consumed three times a day. Fish and seafood is also common here. Some of the popular cuisines of Philippines are; chicken and pork adobo, pork binagoongan, laing, menudo, ukoy, lumpia, sisnigang, bistek and lechon. People who are interested in tasting different cuisines and delicacies will not be disappointed by Philippines tourist destinations.
