A total of Sixty-five (65) sacks of usable clothes and assorted groceries, school bags, and rice were voluntarily contributed by the officers, enlisted personnel and family of the 1st Quezon Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, 1701st RRIBde, PA for the victims of ongoing conflict between our government troops and maute group in Marawi CIty. Newly installed acting batallion commander MAJ RONALDO G. BULFA advised his company commanders to enjoin their troops to sympathize with the predicament of our government forces engaged in the battle and the people of Marawi severely affected by the war by sharing anything that could help alleviate suffering of our kababayan in Marawi. The noble endeavor was supported by new director of 404 (Quezon) Community Defense Center LTC Robert B. Macandili and group commander 4RCDG COL Neneveigh Alcovindas.
Theses relief goods were turned-over to no less than commander Arescom Col Bernie Langub with his chief of staff Col Kennedy F. Saguindang and command G7 Maj. Marlon A Macarilay (CAV) PA G7 ARESCOM a simple ceremony on July 5, 2017 at Headquarters Army Reserve Command, Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza Cavite.
1st Quezon Ready Infantry Battalion intends to sustain support to our troops in and help victims of the conflict by engaging other stakeholders because their recovery entails multi-sectoral and all out government supports.
