Camp Vicente Lim –The PRO4A Regional Headquarters under the supervision of PCSUPT Ma. O Ranada Aplasca has alerted its entire unit since yesterday to take precautionary measures while Tropical Depression ‘Maring’ and Typhoon ‘Lanie’ affects the region traversing part of Luzon area.

TD ‘Maring’ landed around 9:00 in the morning in Mauban Quezon according to PAG-ASA. This has brought heavy rains and floods which severely affect low lying areas within CALABARZON and its nearby regions.

All units in the areas affected responded to incidents such as road clearing operations, inspection on landslide areas, and evacuation of affected residents through the coordination with the Local Government Units, and their respective City and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils. (CDRRMC/MDRRMC).

Earlier, the Office of the Executive Secretary has declared suspension of classes at all levels as well as Government Offices in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON region except those who are under the offices performing Emergency and Rescue Operations.(PIO- PRO4A)
