TAYABAS CITY, Quezon – The welfare and interest of her constituents and good governance based on the highest standards and level of transparency and public accountability continue to be the top priority of Tayabas City lady Mayor Ernida Agpi Reynoso.

In an exclusive interview with the beautiful mayor, she stressed,”Ako po mismo ang siyang nagbibigay ng mabuting halimbawa sa ating kapwa, partikular sa mga empleyado at mangagawa sa pamahalaang panglunsod ng Tayabas, at sinisikap nating mabigyan ng magandang serbisyo ang ating mga mamamayang humihingi at nangaingailangan ng mga paglilingkod na sadyang dapat ibigay sa kanila,”

Top and foremost among Mayor Reynoso’s concerns is the welfare of her people, to help them uplift the status of living, and this is why she is doing everything in her capacity to open and give them opportunities for jobs.

She also believes that education is a major factor in achieving success. With the rising cost of schooling, most parents can no longer afford, and so the city government is also doing its best to establish the foundation of the Southern Luzon Estate University of the 21st Century on coordination with the SLSU and the City Council of Tayabas.

Mayor Reynoso also reiterated the need for road networks in the city, and at present, they have plans to construct by-pass roads and ecotourism roads to hasten traffic problems in the major streets of Tayabas; so that the various products can reach the market faster. This is also one way of promoting tourism by the Tayabas City Tourism Council which aims to protect and preserve the Cultural Heritage.

Among her major plans is also the construction of a new Tayabas City Hall, so that the employees of the local government and the people doing for transactions will have a comfortable place to work in, and to render fast, good services to the people.

Mayor Reynoso likewise express her gratitude and appreciation for Quezon Governor David Suarez for having chosen Tayabas City where to construct the Quezon Sports Complex which is one of the biggest projects of the provincial government.

The sports complex, Mayor Reynoso, is a state-of-the-art where regional and international sports events can be held. It will have modern facilities, a staff house where athletes can stay, coaches and people who will assist in promoting and training of sports education in the province.

In her message, Mayor Reynoso assured that she will continue to serve her people and the City of Tayabas with all her heart, determination, enthusiasm and all the best of her ability, (With report from Tribune Post)
