Turnover and blessing of the newly purchased equipment, held

LUCENA CITY, Quezon -- Lucena City Mayor Roderick Alcala along with the Lucena City government councilors and Father Francis Binco led the formal turn-over and blessing of the newly purchased equipment at Lucena City government complex, this city recently.

The equipment included 2 ambulance, 3 FB close van, 1 payloader, 1 road rolle, 2 HINO dump truck, 1 drop side truck, 3 motorcycle and 1 service vehicle.

According to City Budget Officer Rosie Castillo, the newly purchased vehicles will help speedily implement the programs/ projects of the city government.

“The equipment particularly the vehicles will be used also in disaster operation,” Castillo added.

Castillo also said that the equipment are all brand new and have complete supporting papers.

Mayor Alcala on the other advised the employees who will use the vehicles to take care of it. (GG/R. Orinday, PIA-Quezon with reports from Lucena City PIO)
