Pinarangalan ang mga nagwagi sa isinagawang 4TH Mayor Roderick “DONDON” Alcala Urban Fire Olympics sa LCGC kamakailan.

Ang naturang Fire Olympics ay may dalawang kategorya; ang Junior Fire Marshall Olympics kung saan kalahok ang iba’t ibang mga estudyante na nasa sekondarya at ang Barangay Fire Olympics na kinalahukan naman ng bawat barangay sa lungsod.

Sa Junior Fire Marshall Olympics, tinanghal na Over-all Champion ang Gulang-gulang National High School Ibabang Talim extension. Gayundin ang pagkapanalo nila sa ilang patimpalak tulad ng Fire Extinguishment at Best in Rescue Relay.

Inuwi naman ng Lucena City National High School Mayao Parada Extension ang pagiging First Runner-up at ang pagiging kampeon sa bucket relay habang ang Lucena City National High School naman ang nagkamit ng Second runner-up.

Ang Lucena Dalahican National High school naman ang tinanghal na Best in Yell.

At para naman sa Barangay Fire Olympics, nagwagi bilang Over-all Champion at Best in Bucket Relay ang Barangay ibabang Dupay sa pamumuno ni Kapitan Jacinto Jaca. First runner-up ang Barangay Ibabang Talim habang ang Barangay 4 naman ang second runner-up.

Napanalunan ng Barangay 9 at Barangay 10 ang Best in Flammable Liquid Fire Extinguishment samantalang Barangay 4 din ang tinanghal na Best in Hose Laying and Replacement of Busted Hose.

Early Bird naman sa naturang patimpalak ang Barangay 10 at Best in Uniform ang Baragay 2.

At Hinirang na Best Muse si Jastine Mangana mula sa Barangay Ilayang Iyam.

Ang tinanghal na Over-all Champion ang naging official entry ng lungsod para sa ProvinciAL Fire Olympics.

Inaasahan naman ang patuloy na pagsasagawa at pakikiisa ng bawat mamamayang Lucenahin sa mga ganitong uri ng programa ng Bureau of Fire Protection. (PIO Lucena- M.A. Minor)
