Sariaya, Quezon - A total of 350 attendees composed of students, barangay officials, officers and members of Gilas- Sariaya attended the “E- Power Mo” multi-sectoral forum at Sariaya Sports Complex,, Sariaya, Quezon Tuesday, October 30.

The forum was organized by the Department of Energy (DOE) and Philippine Information Agency (PIA)-Quezon, Region-4A in cooperation with the municipal government of Sariaya which aims to educate the local residents of this town on energy conservation and efficiency.

Resource speakers in the forum were Engr. Mark Angelo de Guzman and Engr. John Salamero of MERALCO- Lucena City who discussed the tips on energy conservation and efficiency while Anna Lisa Ramos also from MERALCO-Lucena City explained MERALCO-Online.

An open forum followed after the discussion of resource speakers where questions asked by the attendees were answered by the speakers.

PIA-Quezon Infocen Manager Joselito Giron in his closing remarks thanked Sariaya mayor Marcelo Gayeta and the media practitioners composed of Ms. Celine Tutor and King Formaran of Monday Times and Rustom Alvarez of Radyo Pilipinas- Lucena City for supporting the forum. (Ruel Orinday- PIA-Quezon)
