10 Quezonians completed the 3 Day Training Program for Microsoft Education Ambassador Batangas Leg 2019 on April 10-12, 2019 at Lyceum University of the Philippines Batangas, Batangas City.
They are the qualifiers out of the 300 aspirants who auditioned last March 9, 2019 at Luceum University of the Philippines Batangas, Batangas City. The aspirants went through an interview conducted by the Microsoft Education Program Manager, Grace Co and Microsoft Education Program Lead, Clarissa Segismundo.
In addition, they answered two random short courses from Microsoft Education Community Website and sent video interview about why they wanted to be Microsoft Education Ambassadors or MEAs.
The 10 new MEAs are all teachers from the Division of Quezon whose names are Remily Magpantay, Boyet Aluan, Jean Rose Bidula, Ruth De Leon, Jane Nepumuceno, Mary Ann Alteza, Jeiran del Rio, Morena Lopez, Jackie Lou Lacay and Christopher Duro.
These teachers are advocates of educational technology and experts in the utilization of Microsoft applications to make teaching and learning fun, interactive and convenient. The training includes usage of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Learning Tools, FlipGrid, Microsoft Online and Sway.
These select Quezonian MEAs are expected to roll out their learnings from the 3 Day Training and adopt school-based, district and division In Service trainings, Learning Action Cells or LAC and other speaking engagements for free.
For adoption and inquiries, all school administrators and school heads may contact their respective Division Information and Technology Officers or ITOs. The ITOs will coordinate with the MEAs for the meet up and training facilitation.
