LUCENA CITY--- A jobless man ended up jailed for saying that Quezon Governor David Suarez who is running for a Congressional seat is a gay. Redentor Itable, 46, was arrested by seaman Israel Dealca, 39, at 2: 10 p.m. who subsequently took him to Lucena police station under Supt. Reydante Ariza. Itable was collared while standing at the center island of the road in front of SM- City Lucena at Brgy. Ibabang Dupay holding a placard that says, "Bakla si Governor Suarez", apparently referring to the outgoing Governor himself. Itable was placed behind bars while appropriate charges will be filed against him. "It was a citizen's arrest", said a police prober who refused to be named, in a phone interview. The prober told this writer that Itable was once arrested several years ago by the police in Lopez, Quezon for doing similar offense against then Lopez Mayor Sonny Ubana who is now a provincial board member. "But the case filed against him did not matetialize", he said. Aside from Itable, many critics of Suarez has been accusing him via social media of being a homosexual. Suarez, who has been married to Alona Partylist Rep. Ana Villarasa is the youngest son of House Minority Floor Leader Danilo Suarez is running for Congressman in the province' second district against former Agriculture Sec. Proceso Alcala. Alcala's elder brother Rep. Vicente 'Kulit' Alcala is running for governor against the old Suarez.
