Some Filipino voters are not dumb or “BOBO”, they are asleep.
CHEATING in the 2013 and 2016 elections was massive and unstoppable. The biggest victim of the cheating was Bongbong Marcos and Fernando Poe Jr. But the recent Philippine Midterm Election 2019 is the worst. It’s 2019 and they’re still CHEATING and no one is doing a damn thing to stop them! You have all failed us.
All cheating is designed to accomplish an ignoble end—the fraudulent or illegitimate victory of a favored candidate. Bong revilla literally just came back from the prison because of graft and plunder cases, run for election, and win. People express their anger or dismay with regards to this year’s election result. I have seen plenty of rants on Facebook myself expressing outrage and I even went on facebook and rant about this too. Members of various progressive groups including Anakbayan, Kabataan Partylist, and Gabriela troop went outside Comelec and PICC to protest suspected election fraud and anomalies in the recent midterm elections in the 2019 polls.
It is difficult to simply be an observer when it seems the very branch that we each rest upon is being cut from beneath us. Will our world leaders save us? It does not at this moment in time seem very sure that they will. Some politician, refuse to listen to people, but instead their own self interest. They care about them selves, their donors, and lobbyists. There are public servant too who strive to put public interest in front of self ambition and it’s wonderful to see an honest, positive politician with integrity. But the masses neglected those worthy people who can make a change in our country and instead choose the incompetent and the underserving.
The point here is people complain because there is wrong and they can see wrong. There are people who don’t know what plunderer means for example or how to assess candidates; overwhelmed by the amount of people to choose from or simply not understanding platforms and the long term effects of other things that go on.
Elections are at the verge of occurrence. People are hoping for a good and honest government. Why can’t you just LET US DECIDE? Why vote if you will just allowed cheating until you in the government achieve your desired result? Our votes matter!
