CAVITE PROVINCE – The Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO) is determined to boost the province’s tourism as it spearheaded recently some major activities held in key cities here including the Filipino Food Festival at SM City Trece Martires that showcased homegrown food products and delicacies.
About 20 food exhibitors from the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the province joined the event, namely: Cafe Amadeo; Ben & Lyn Chocolate, Inc.- Indang made of tablea; GenTri’s Best Fresh Buffalo’s Milk; Delfa’s, Kimchahong, Tiendas, Nikimat’s and The Greener Grins Food Products; Dunong Ani French Style Bangus of Cavite State Uiversity- Naic; The Original Tablea Batirol- Alfonso; Ate Bebot Special Puto Bumbong and Bibingka; Goldilocks and Max’s Restaurant Goodies and SM Food Products.
The conduct of the event was in collaboration with the marketing department of SM City Trece Martires.
PTCAO also conducted an earlier activity which was the opening of the Cavite Tourist Information and Assistance Center (CTIAC) on May 17 at RFC Molino Mall in the City of Bacoor.
The center aims to disseminate tourism-related information, promote the province’s tourist destinations, and provide assistance to tourists and tourism enterprises.
CTIAC also shared its office as venue for local MSMEs to exhibit and promote their products.
The launching of the CTIAC was attended by members of the Cavite Travel and Tours Association and the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies - Cavite Chapter; Del Mundo Family, owner of RFC Molino Mall; and the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office- entrepreneurial division staff.
