LOPEZ, QUEZON - While being arrested by police operatives, a wanted felon facing murder charges yielded a million worth of shabu and unregistered pistol at Brgy. Villahermosa, here, yesterday.
Marlon Rocela, 27, construction worker, and resident of said village did not resist when collared inside his residence, said Col. Ramil Montilla, the Quezon police director.
Montilla said Rocela has standing warrant of arrest for murder.
He said the suspect was accosted by joint elements of Provincial Anti-Organized Crime Unit (PAOCU) and 2nd (QPMFPC) under Maj. Reynaldo Reyes at 4:00 a.m. on the strenghth of arrest order issued Lucena City Regional Trial Court Judge Romeo S. Buenaventura.

During the serving of arrest warrant, Montilla said the lawmen seized from the suspect's possession a Cal.45 Para X Hicap pistol, a magazine loaded with11 live bullets and three large heat sealed plastic sachets containing 150 grams of suspected shabu with street value of P1,000,000.
He said violations of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. 9165) and Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (R.A.10591) were filed against the suspect who is now detained at the custodial facility of Lopez police station.
