INFANTA, QUEZON - Police operatives on Wednesday arrested an 63 year- old woman and her 16 year- old grandson and seized P252,000 worth of shabu in an anti- narcotics operation in Brgy. Poblacion 9, here.

Col. Audie Madrideo, the newly installed OIC of Quezon Police Provincial Office identified the old woman as Marilyn Galvan, alias Mami, 63, and resident of Brgy. Sto. Niño, Meycauyan, Bulacan. Her grandson’s identity was held for being a minor.

Madrideo said the arrest was carried out by elements of Infanta police force personally led by its commander, Major Dandy Aguilar at 6:30 p.m.

Quoting Aguilar, Madrideo said that prior to the arrest, a suspected male drug pusher who had been getting drugs ftom Galvan was arrested by the operatives in a drug buy bust.

“On Aguilar’s order, the suspect contacted Galvan and made a drug transaction with her just like what they have heve been doing in the past. They ended up in an agreement that Galvan will bring 100 grams of shabu from Bulacan on Wednesday afternoon”, said Madrideo.

At the police station, Galvan told Aguilar that it was the third transaction that she did in this town. Galvan said she was promised to receive P10,000 by her boss once the mission is accomplished. However, she refused to name names when asked by Aguilar about her boss’ identity.

“May sakit po kasi ang mister ko kaya ako napilitang kumapit sa patalim”, Galvan told Aguilar.
