MAGALLANES, Cavite - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Cavite has launched “Negosyo sa Barangay” (business in the village), which is meant to provide business assistance to budding Cavite entrepreneurs and those aiming to level up their business growth.
“I wish to encourage the business aspirants to actively participate and broaden the possibility and significance of entrepreneurship,” DTI-Cavite Provincial Director Noly Guevara said on Thursday.
Launched early this week at Barangay Urdaneta in this upland Cavite southern town, the village business program serves as an on-site and outreach business information, training, and skills-enhancement event.
He said more business opportunities could benefit, not only village folks but also the locals and prospective clients.
Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista lauded the DTI-Cavite for holding the 'Negosyo sa Barangay' program that will encourage people to put up their businesses and for existing ones to expand to other business opportunities.
Both the government agency's officials and representatives from the academe offered their various programs and projects to capacitate skills of Caviteño entrepreneurs. (PNA)
