LUCENA CITY - Once again, the results of week- long Simultaneous Anti- Criminality and Law Enforcement (SACLEO) of the Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) in the entire province turned fruitful, police officials said yesterday.
In the campaign against illegal drugs, Quezon police director Col.Ramil Montilla said that from July 2 to 6, they arrested 32 suspects, 20 of them are included in the drug watch list while 11 are newly identified, resulting in the seizure of 81.831 grams of shabu and 2 grams of dried Marijuana leaves.
Montilla said one suspected drug pusher was killed during one of the operations.

In the campaign against wanted criminals, the provincial director said they arrested 9 most wanted persons and 38 other wanted persons.
While in the drive against loose and unrenewed firearms, Montilla said 12 persons including a barangay captain and 2 businessmen were arrested during implementation of search warrants resulting in the confiscation of 13 firearms.
He said 68 assorted firearms mostly pistols with expired registrations were surrendered to the police for safekeeping by their owners including those with expired License To Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF).
Montilla vowed to keep on gaining positive results in their anti- criminality campaign.
