LUNGSOD NG LUCENA, Quezon - Kalumpang Elementary School headed by Waldymar E. Pasacsac together with the teaching force conducted “Piging ng Pasasalamat”, a school-based stakeholders’ thanksgiving ceremony at Kalumpang Covered Court on Aug. 11. 2019.

The thanksgiving ceremony is about recognizing school partners who have contributed their time, effort and resources to the school during school year 2018-2019 for Brigada Eskwela and Adopt-A-School Program.

Partnership Accomplishments of the school for school year 2018-2019 was presented and future targets were laid down. Education Program Specialist II, Joan Kathleen T. Brizuela gave the challenge on targetting the highest generated resources for Adopt –A – School Program for fiscal year 2019.

Highlight of the event was the Memorandum of Agreement signing with Union Bank, Lucena Branch. Union Bank legally adopts Kalumpang ES and will support Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs). Manager Raniela Sesperes expresses their commitment and support through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and GO BEYOND projects.

Initial project is the purchasing of Garbage Bins amounting to P60,000.00 which will help solve garbage disposal and segregation.

Another highlight was the signing of pledge of commitment by the different partners.

Congressman Mark Enverga and Congresswoman Trina Enverga was represented by their coordinator Ian Umbrete. Brgy. Captain Susan Quindoza and General Parent-Teacher Association (GPTA) President, Maria Bridgette Cabral expressed their support.

Other Stakeholders recognized were Imelda Pabulayan, Ramil Ayangco, Union Bank, Maxx Restaurant, Jolibee and Greenwich.
