LUNGSOD NG ANTIPOLO - Ginawaran ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) kamakailan ang Antipolo Institute of Technology (AiTECH) para sa Diploma Program in Construction Supervision (DConS) nito.

Ikinatuwa ni Antipolo City Mayor Andeng Ynares ang nasabing pagkilala lalo na’t patuloy na nadaragdagan ang karangalang natatangap ng AiTECH.

“Nakamit na po natin ang pangarap na mabigyan ng dekalidad at abot-kamay na edukasyon ang ating mga kabataan at isa lamang po ang AiTECH sa ating mga programang pang-edukasyon. Marami na pong natutulungan ang AiTECH na mga kabataan na maabot ang kanilang pangarap na makapag-aral at mai-ahon sa kahirapan ang kanilang pamilya. Patuloy po nating pauunlarin ang edukasyon sa Antipolo at patuloy po kaming huhubog ng kabataang maipagmamalaki natin sa buong mundo,” ayon kay Mayor Ynares.

Kilala ang AiTECH na unang city college sa buong Pilipinas at Asya na nag-ooffer ng kursong Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering (BSConE). Kasama rin ito sa top performing schools sa buong CALABARZON sa nakaraang National Achievement Test ng DepEd.

Ang AiTECH rin ang bukod tanging city college sa buong bansa na may Level 5 TESDA accreditation para sa Construction Sector at isa rin ito sa napili ng TESDA Technical Working Group of Dublin and Sydney Accords at ng Philippine Technological Council na maaaring sumailalim sa evaluation gamit ang International Accreditation Standards.

Mabilis din ang pag-usbong ng kolehiyo simula nang buksan ito noong 2015. Sa buong bansa, napili ito ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) na mapabilang sa Higher Education Institutions (HEI), pangalawa sa Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), at Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU).
