INDANG, Cavite –The Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) thru the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) expressed its support for the accreditation of B.S. in Environmental Science Course Level III – Phase 2 in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science of the College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources (DFES-CAFENR) of Cavite State University (CavSU).
According to the Provincial Information and Community Affairs Department (PICAD), the accreditation is timely and in line with the rising need for more technical knowledge and in-depth understanding for the care and concern of the environment.

Prof. Noel A. Sedigo, the Dean of CVSU-T3 (Tanza, Trece Martires and Ternate) Campuses and former Chairman of DFES presented the accreditation for the B.S. in Environmental Science Course Level III – Phase 2 during the Accreditation Survey Visit by a team from AACCUP held at the International Convention Center, CVSU Main Campus.
As a result of the survey conducted by the AACCUP team composed of Dr. Francis N. Baleta, PartidoSU Team Leader and Prof. Juanita Q. Rabina, UNP Lead Accreditor, the accreditation of the course was approved.
Meanwhile, PG-ENRO Anabelle L Cayabyab spoke about the partnerships forged between the PGC and CVSU such as the Cavite Greening Program, establishment of the Cavite Water Testing Laboratory and holding of the Cavite Water Summit 2015.
In addition, Cayabyab said BSES graduates from CVSU was accommodated by the offices of PGC. (Ruel Francisco, PIA-Cavite/with reports from PICAD)
