LUCENA CITY - Joint police teams on Thursday arrested the city’s 5th most wanted felon inside his residence at Brgy. Maliguin, Unisan, Quezon.
Quezon police director, Col. Audie Madrideo identified the nabbed felon as Ernesto Gajo, 64, farmer temporarily residing at said place but was originally residing at Brgy. Ibabang Iyam, this city.
By virtue of an arrest order issued by Lucena City Regional Trial Court Branch 55 Judge Agripino Bravo, Madrideo said Gajo’s arrest was carried out by joint elements of Lucena City and Unisan police stations, Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU)- 4Aand Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Quezon undernthe supervision of Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, the newly installed Lucena City police director.
Albacea said Gajo faces frustrated homicide charges. He said Gajo was identified by witnesses as the one who stabbed several times his male neighbor at Brgy. Iyam sometime last January.
