MARAGONDON, Cavite – Hundreds of families residing at Maragondon relocation site benefited from the Basic Services Caravan spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The activity was a concurrence of the Provincial Planning and Development Office’s Peace and Order and Anti-drug Abuse Council meeting in September 2019 which emphasized the need for the delivery of basic services in vulnerable areas to impede the influence and intrusion of terrorist armed groups.
This also paved the way for different government agencies to pool their resources for the delivery of basic services particularly to families living in the identified geographically disadvantaged communities.
(I thank Governor Jonvic Remulla for the continuous support in our community and to all the people behind this worthy project that provides the need for health services including public service like processing of important documents - birth certificates, and other documents.)
