TIAONG, Quezon - An ailing bride went unconscious and eventually stopped breathing while being wed to her long- time boyfriend, here.

Amid her serious health problems, Marjorie Ann Calizar, 36, self employed and resident of Villa Rosario Dubd, Brgy. Lumingon, here, gave in to the request of Victor Banayo, her long-time boy friend, to marry him and be his life time partner.

Marjorie Ann has been suffering from ovarian cancer but was optimistic that she would get well sooner after undergoing a cervical operation at Candelaria United Doctor's Hospital on June 6, according to Victor's mother.

Not so long after the operation, Marjorie Ann was again hospitalized despite their scheduled wedding on the afternoon of December 26.

Aboard an ambulance as her bridal car, Marjorie Ann arrived at St. John the Baptist Parish Church in this town during the wedding ceremony.

At the church, the bride, accompanied by nurses, was welcomed by this wating groom in a stretcher as she could no longer walk down the aisle.

But while at the middle of the wedding rites at 2:40 p.m., Marjorie Ann suddenly passed out and didn' t make it.

Despite what happened, the ceremony continued on requests of Victor who for the last time proved his genuine love to Marjorie Ann.

The bride was then taken out of the church by her family and medics to the hospital.

Marjorie was laid to rest yesterday afternoon.

Her family has been refusing from being interviewed saying they wànt everything private, according to Lt. Col. Eufronio Obong, the town police commander.

"That's why the family did not inform us of the incident", said Obong.
