The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) has recognized Laguna Provincial Hospital- Majayjay District Hospital (LPH-MDH) for sustaining 100% compliance to the No Balance Billing (NBB) Policy for CY 2019, and for complying to all the requirements and mandates of all regulatory agencies.
The No Balance Billing (NBB) policy affirms that no other fee or expense shall be paid for by an indigent Philhealth member patient above or beyond the packaged rate.
The award was received by OIC-Chief of Hospital, Dra. Ma. Theresa V. Lapitan, FPSMS, MHA, CHA, FPCHA on 04 November 2019 during the weekly flag raising ceremony at the Time Plaza in the provincial capitol compound in Sta. Cruz.
True to serving the people in need of medical treatment, LPH-MDH vows to further improve delivery of healthcare services to everyone in need especially to the people of the municipalities of Majayjay, Liliw and Magdalena. (PIO Laguna)
