Four brothers spent New Year’s Eve behind bars after they were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly selling PHP740,000 (US$14,620) worth of marijuana and meth in General Trias town in Cavite.

Those arrested have been identified as brothers Kenneth Uchi, 20 years old; Cedric Uchi, 28; Dennis Uchi, 21; and Detlef Uchi, 19, news television show Unang Balita reported.

The brothers were arrested after they sold drugs to an undercover cop in the village of San Francisco at around 3:30pm. The police seized seven grams of meth worth PHP40,000 (US$791) from the suspects, as well as six kilograms of marijuana estimated to be worth PHP700,000 (US$13,831), the Philippine Star reported.
