Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay has been known as the most family-oriented and kid-friendly place to stay in Tagaytay City. Their great service and amenities such as The Farm, Aqua Slide, Toddler’s Play area, and in-house activities are perfect for a family who are looking for quality time away from the Metro.

The hotel also offers affordable and quality event functions and day trips for its guests. GoCavite followers may also enjoy 25% off for its Day trips.

And before 2020 begins, Hotel Kimberly launches its very own Filipino themed restaurant named “Ammay” to cater in-house and walk-in guests. They wanted to showcase our rich Filipino culinary heritage to all the families who will be staying and dining in on their place.

Ammay which came from a word in Barlig, Mountain Province, means optimism and positivity. The management chose this “Fiallig” dialect because it resonates with how Filipinos look for every positive side of every situation.

Aside from the story behind the restaurant, the food is the reason why you will keep on coming back to them.

We tried some of their chef’s choice and below are the most delicious dishes that we recommend for everyone to try.

FARM BOWL SALAD. The best way to start your gastronomic journey with Ammay is to try this salad. The vegetables are hand-picked from their very own hydroponic farm with orange segments, cucumber, and their signature vinaigrette.

MARGHERITA PIZZA. If you are a pizza lover, their Margherita pizza will surely satisfy your cravings for a fresh and homemade pizza. The thin crust is perfectly topped with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, and virgin olive oil which gives a mixture of Italian and Filipino taste

PANCIT CABAGAN. This noodle dish originally came from Isabela. Miki noodles were mixed with sauteed vegetables and topped with pork cracklings and eggs. This pancit version has more sauce compared with others which are uniquely delicious that everyone should try.

BISTEK TAGALOG. Peppery slices of local beef tenderloin in soy-lime sauce, Ammay’s version of Bistek Tagalog has the perfect mix saltiness and sourness that your Filipino palette will love. The beef slices are easy to chew since it is cooked low and slow. The serving is also good for sharing and is worth sharing!

BULALO. Tagaytay has been known to be the “Bulalo Capital” in the south, and, Ammay’s very own bulalo dish is definitely worth all the drive from the metro. The huge serving perfect for group meal has beef shanks slowly cooked with farm-fresh vegetables and aromatics. A must try!

Filipino dishes are known for their unique twists and taste per region, and it is amazing how Kimberly Hotel’s Ammay restaurant captures the different flavors of every traditional dish while giving their signature through their fresh and homemade ingredients.

If you are looking for a new place to dine and try in Tagaytay City, this restaurant will surprise your taste-buds!
