TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite – About 150 individuals and representatives from different organizations joined the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Philippines’ PROJECT YOUmanity: Dinner for a Cause held recently at Hotel Dominique.
The event highlighted the activities that ADRA achieved in the past year particularly on Restoring, Empowering and Protecting (REAP) Livelihood Project. Mr. Karl Max Morta, REAP Project Livelihood Officer presented the project which just concluded its 4-year operations in Northern Iloilo in September last year.

ADRA Country Director, Tom Pignon said “The REAP project spoke right to the heart of ADRA,” adding that, “Through restoring, empowering and protecting livelihood, ADRA was able to address many of the root causes of poverty and the community’s vulnerabilities to disasters.”
The event with the tagline, ”It takes You to make a better world,” emphasized that when committed individuals and organizations work together, it impacts the world with positive change thereby improving the lives of vulnerable communities accross the country.
ADRA Philippines expressed its gratitude for all the attendees that unselfishly shared their time and resources with funds raised to will help the victims of recent calamities like typhoon Tisoy in Sorsogon and Northern Samar and recent earthquakes in Mindanao.
