The project will be adding the 11.7-kilometer rail extension line starting from Baclaran, to Pasay City, ending at Bacoor in Cavite to complement the existing 18.1-kilometer LRT-1 train line. The new line will have eight stations: Redemptorist, MIA Road, Asia World, Ninoy Aquino, Dr. Santos, Las Pinas, Zapote, and Niog in Cavite.
The initial first phase of the project will have a span of seven kilometers with five stations between Redemptorist Church in Baclaran and Dr. Santos Avenue in Parañaque City and is expected to start operating by the end of 2021.
