Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City,Cavite- Police Colonel Marlon R Santos, OIC Cavite PPO reported to CALABARZON Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Vicente D Danao Jr. on the accomplishment of Cavite PNP in an overnight anti-criminality operations from January 31- February 1, 2020 that resulted in the arrest of 28 persons.
On 13 police operation conducted against illegal drugs, 17 drug suspects were arrested and accounted a total of 14.92 grams of suspected shabu with street value of Php 101,456. 00 pesos.
PCOL Marlon R Santos identified one of the arrested drug suspects listed as high value target as Julius Ceazar Tarrayo y Garcia, 35 years old who was arrested together with his cohort in Brgy Alapan 1A, Imus City, Cavite. Drug Enforcement Team of Imus PNP confiscated an estimated 3.33 grams of suspected shabu with street value of PHP 22,644.00 pesos from their possession.
On Most Wanted Persons, 6 suspects by virtue of warrant of arrest were taken into custody. They were arrested for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness, Simple Theft, Homicide, RA 9262 otherwise known as Violation against Women and Children, Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Damaged to Property.
Two suspects were arrested for violation of special laws known as the Traffic Code and Trafficking in person.
Three other suspects were arrested thru warrantless arrest for the crimes of Theft in General Trias City and Bacoor City. and Physical Injury tranpired in Cavite City.
Meanwhile, there was no reported casualty during the fire incident happened at P. Burgos Avenue, San Roque, Cavite City on January 31, 2020 at 11:00 in the evening.
The arrested suspects were apprised of their Constitutional Rights provided in the Miranda Rule and R.A 9745 (Anti-Torture Act of 2009) and were brought to the stations to prepare the criminal charges for an Inquest Proceedings to be filed before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor. While pieces of evidence were brought to Cavite Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for laboratory examination.
