PDEA Director General Aaron N Aquino in a report submitted by IAV Melvin S Estoque, Officer-In-Charge, PDEA Regional Office IV-A (PDEA ROIV-A), identified the suspects as Felemeno Zantua Y Macaro, male, 50 years old, single, electrician, Mario Balderama, male, 22 years old, construction worker, Romar A Sumayang, male, 23 years old, construction worker, Ericson B Marcampos, Nico L Solsoloy, male, single, 24 years old, and Jerwin B Lagman, male, single, 24 years old, construction worker, all arrested are residents of Purok 10, Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City, Rizal.

Drug Enforcement Officers of the PDEA ROIV-A in a joint operation with the Antipolo City Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Purok 10, Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City, province of Rizal that led to the arrest of Zantua, the drug den owner along with Balderama, Sumayang, Marcampos, Solsoloy, and Lagman and the dismantling of the drug den.

At around 4:00 in the afternoon, an entrapment operation was conducted, and during the buy-bust operation, operatives strategically positioned themselves near Zantua’s residence and immediately after the drug transaction transpired, Zantua and other five drug personalities who were inside his residence doubling as drug den, were also arrested.

Recovered from their possession were assorted drug paraphernalia, 15 grams of suspected shabu worth Php102,000.00, more or less 5 grams of marijuana dried leaves worth Php600.00 and a buy-bust money. Confiscated pieces of drug evidence were brought to PDEA ROIV-A Laboratory for examination, while the suspects are now temporarily detained at the PDEA ROIV-A Jail facility.

Charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act is being readied for filing at the Prosecutor’s Office
