In Calabarzon, regional director Rene Colocar also reported relevant strides the agency has taken in order to ensure equal opportunities of agrarian beneficiaries.
"We would like to announce that today we have 90% EPs (emancipation patents) and CLOAs (certificates of land ownership awards) that are under the name of both husband and wife."

Director Colocar also stated that the agency's land ownership/transfer processes also require the consent of partners/spouses to ensure the validity of ownership.
The director said that of the 268 government-assisted agrarian reform beneficiary (ARB) organizations in Calabarzon, 35% of top positions are occupied by women.
