ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - Locals of Pililla, Rizal can now have their medications and other drugstore products delivered through the Better Med program.
The initiative devised by the Pililla Municipal Government and members of Progresibong Kababaihan ng Pililla (PKP) recently started operating on March 31 and pools local requests to buy medications and other products such as diapers and infant milk which are not available in drugstores within the town and then deliver them to stakeholders.
Better Med does not charge delivery fees and designates one rider per barangay to gather orders, purchase and delivery house-to-house or meet up at the nearest landmark in order to keep locals within their homes amidst the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon.
The LGU adds however only orders for medicine, infant milk and diapers will be entertained.
