MANILA, Philippines – Public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers in Bulacan and Rizal may still receive their cash subsidy from selected branches of the Landbank of the Philippines until Friday (April 24), as announced by the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
The said cash assistance is part of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in cooperation with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and Landbank to help PUV drivers affected by the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
The following selected Landbank branches have been serving PUV drivers since Tuesday (April 21) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon:
Bulacan
Balagtas
Baliuag
Malolos Highway
Malolos Plaza
Meycauayan
Pulilan
San Ildefonso
San Jose Del Monte
Sta. Maria
Rizal
Antipolo
Binangonan
Cainta
Tanay
Taytay
Landbank, however, reminds claimants that only 200 beneficiaries will be accommodated daily.
PUV drivers may check the list first if they are entitled to the said cash subsidy.

The DOTr stressed that only PUV drivers whose names appear on the list are encouraged to proceed to Landbank offices also to ensure that strict social distancing protocols are observed.
