LUCENA CITY, Quezon - The SM Foundation, Inc. (SMFI) donated personal protective equipment (PPEs) and personal hygiene supplies to Quezon Medical Center (QMC) on March 31.
Dr. Karen Tagle of QMC Pediatrics Department received the donated PPEs composed of N95 face masks, sterile surgical gloves, alcohols, personal hygiene during the turn-over by SM City Lucena officers and store managers.
According to Lilibeth Azores of SM City Lucena, the SMFI continues to pay tribute to the efforts of the medical frontliners who selflessly serve the people despite risking their own health and safety with daily exposure to COVID-19.
"The SM Foundation Inc. also donated PPEs and personal hygiene supplies to other government hospitals nationwide," Azores said.
The medical PPEs will be used by the doctors, nurses and other health workers to protect themselves and their patients.
QMC Director Dr. Rolando Padre extended their grateful acknowledgement for the donation of SM Foundation, Inc. that would greatly help the medical personnel of the medical center. (Ruel Orinday-PIA-Quezon/ with reports from SM Foundation Inc.)
