LUNGSOD NG ANTIPOLO - Antipolo City has partnered with JoyRide and Happy Move to provide employment and more income to about 2,000 to 3,000 tricycle drivers.
Antipolo City Mayor Andrea Ynares announced the government's goal of helping tricycle drivers who were affected due to COVID-19's current limitations such as the odd-even scheme.
The affected tricycle drivers would be the Joyride Pabili or the Joyride Customer delivery riders, the Mayor said
It also aims to help reduce the outflow of citizens from homes as well as reduce road traffic.
A system that will provide non-governmental funds to serve as petty cash or revolving funds for tricycle drivers is currently being developed without the hassle of buying potential customers.
The Mayor added that interested tricycle drivers can speak to officials or approach Olan Avenda or the Antipolo City Public Transport Regulatory Board. (with reports from Jun-Andeng Ynares Facebook Page)
