The mayor clarified that he allowed the malls to resume operation provided that they will abide by the rules and policies of the city government.

For his part Madrideo reminded them to practice the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) rules and vowed to provide police assistance to prevent those would- be violators.

Since the mall security guards have no authority to ask for quarantine passes of the incoming customers, Madrideo asked Albacea to assign police personnel for the job.

The mall managers vowed to comply and cooperate with the city government policies and GCQ rules.

Shortly before the mall inspection, the mayor met with officers of transport sector at the city hall where they finalized the new policies to be imposed by the city government on the resumption of their operation.
