BATANGAS CITY - Matapos ang pagboto ng "Yes" sa anti-terrorism bill ng Administrasyon ni Duterte, ipinagtanggol ng aactress-turned-politician na si Vilma Santos kamakailan ang kanyang desisyon sa social media.

Tulad ng naiulat sa Rappler, ang kinatawan ng distrito ng Batangas kamakailan ay tumugon sa pagpuna laban sa kanyang boto sa pamamagitan ng Twitter account ng anak na si Luis Manzano, na sinasabi na hindi siya pangunahing punong may-akda ng House Bill 6875, at na siya ay pabor dito "with reservations".



"I have concern about the country's national security policy. I just hope that the law enforcement agencies will implement it in accordance with the Constitution, full respect to human rights, and without any abuse whatsoever," aniya.

However, her explanation was not met with optimism from the public, with many, including
