GENERAL LUNA, Quezon - A discussion took place on July 13, 2020, in Sangguniang Bayan of General Luna, Quezon, led by General Luna Municipal Mayor Matt Florido, with JE-Hydro, Bio-Energy Corporation, and R.A. Construction Co. of approximately 90M Water System Project to be carried out in this town for the smooth flow of water through build-operate-transfer or BOT.

According to Mayor Florido, he will sign an agreement between the local government and the private company to ensure that they manage irrigation along with the development of new water resources to provide adequate supplies.

Mayor Florido also said that this project will not be financed by the local government, "Ang investor ang siyang gagastos at magpapatayo ng mga pasilidad at siyang magsisiguro na 24 hours ang daloy ng tubig sa bawat tahanan.

The hydrologist determined that the Bulung-Bulungan River in Sumilang could be an additional source of water. There will also be a water treatment facility and a reservoir for a clean, safe, and orderly flow of water. The plant has a capacity of 3.5 million liters per day, which can supply 3,000 households with water.

It is estimated that the investment of the said town will be up to PHP 90M. The price per cubic of water is Php 25.00 in their offer to the Sangguniang Bayan.

Mayor Matt Florido said.

As a town, Mayor Matt Florido does not run out of resources to provide proper public services to all.

As the number of COVID 19 cases continues to increase throughout the country, and even in the province of Quezon, the good mayor of General Luna is still battling the pandemic.
