According to Dr. Mac Hornilla, Chief of OCVAS, the said broiler chicks will be taken care of for 38 days and after being sold, it is expected that the recipient will be able to buy the chicks again to take care of them directly. Distributed chicks also include free patuka or feed and the house of the chicks.
Meanwhile, OCVAS continues to distribute free seedlings to barangays conducting urban gardening. They also give a lecture on the proper planting of plants.
