The Provincial Government presided over the commemoration of the 142nd birthday of President Manuel L. Quezon where a mass was held followed by the offering of flowers at his monument in Perez Park, City of Lucena.

This activity was attended by Governor Danilo E. Suarez, Vice Governor Sam Nantes, First Lady and 3rd District Congw. Aleta Suarez, Board Members Beth Sio, Alona Obispo, Dhoray Tan, Rey Arrogancia, Jerry Talaga and Provincial Government staff led by Chief of Staff Jenny Suarez-Lopez, Provincial Administrator Roberto Gajo, Executive Assistan III Roger Panganiban, Executive Assistan II Tina Talavera, Engr. Rowel Radovan and staff heads of various offices donated flowers to the monument of former President Manuel Luis Quezon.





The Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM), Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) and Knight of Colombus also participated in the program.

In the message of the Governor Suarez, he shared some of the words of former president Manuel L. Quezon that he wants his countrymen to be as strong as a molabe. So now that our country is facing a big test because of COVID-19 we will prove as Quezonians that we will not give up and we will be strong and strong as if we will take whatever challenge we face as the former wants us to President Quezon.

In this regard, our Governor also mentioned that the big annual celebration of the Niyogyugan Festival will be set aside to allow for more important events in our Province.





While in the speech of PBGen. Vicente D. Danao Jr., Regional Director - Police Regional Office, CALABARZON and as the guest of honor he shared the Law Enforcement's solidarity in commemoration of the 142nd birthday of former President Manuel L. Quezon.


Meanwhile, after the offering of flowers and mass at the monument of former President Manuel L. Quezon, the ribbon cutting and the opening of the Niyogyugan Online Festival 2020 were formally held.
