MAUBAN,Quezon – Mauban Quezon Mayor Marita Llamas tested positive for COVID-19 Saturday, August 22, 2020.

On a Facebook post, the result of her RT-PCT test showed that she was positive for such a disease. She is asymptomatic or has no symptoms of COVID-19 and her condition is fine.





The Mayor added that he is already under house quarantine and encourages his interlocutors to undergo self-isolation under the health protocol.

Llamas also reminded the residents of Mauban to stay inside their homes and to comply with the minimum standards of public health for the welfare and safety of all.





They've done some activities to help everyone. The Mayor, together with the municipal staff, joined the activities.

“Ang mga paaralan ay ating tinulungan upang masiguro na sa kawalan ng face to face interaction ay maipagpatuloy pa rin ang edukasyon ng mga mag-aaral ngayong darating na pasukan” said Llamas.

Mayor Maritas Llamas said that it is not easy to fight the pandemic, that even if they have become strict about their protocols and are looking for their safety, unexpected things can still happen.

“Akin pong ipinagbibigay alam sa ating mga minamahal na kababayan na ang inyong lingkod ay nag positibo sa COVID-19 ayon sa resulta ng aking RT PCR test na lumabas ngayong araw, Agosto 22, 2020”

Mayor Maritas Llamas said that it is not easy to fight the pandemic, that even if they have become strict about their protocols and are looking for their safety, unexpected things can still happen.

She also urged everyone she came into contact with, self-isolated, and everyone should stay at home as much as possible. She also reminded everyone to follow and apply the Minimum Public Health Standards.
