LUCENA CITY - Joint police teams arrested on Friday a wanted felon accused of raping a minor last year, at Brgy. Limbon, Sariaya, Quezon.

Quezon police director Col. Audie Madrideo said the suspect, Christian Lavarez @ Moymoy, 21, was collared by joint elements of Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU)4-A, Provincial Intelligence Unit and Sariaya police station under Lt. Col. Reynaldo Reyes at 9:30 a.m.

Madrideo said the arrest was carried out on the strength of an arrest order for the crime of rape issued by Judge Patricia Angeles R. Cataquiz of Family Court Branch 16, with no recommended bail.

Reyes said the suspect is listed number 11 most wanted felon in the regional level and number 7 in the municipal level.

Quoting police record, Reyes said the suspect was complained by a minor girl of raping her on June 24, 2019 inside his house at Brgy. Castañas, Sariaya, Quezon.
