LUCENA CITY - Under the leadership of Governor Danilo E. Suarez and in cooperation with the Department of Health (DOH), the provincial government provided free vaccines to employees of the local government of Lucena City and officials of Barangay.
On Thursday, August 13, the influenza vaccine immunization was conducted at the Quezon Convention Center personally attended by Quezon Province Governor Danilo E. Suarez, Vice Governor Sam Nantes, Lucena City Mayor Rhoderick “Dondon” Alcala , Mark Enverga, Brgy. Captain Edward Sy Bang of Barangay Cinco, 2nd District Board Member Beth Sio along with Provincial Administrator Roberto Gajo, Chief of Staff Jenny Suarez-Lopez and Executive Assistant II Cristina Talavera.
The goal of the program is to protect the health of Lucenahins in the midst of the pandemic that we are experiencing due to COVID-19.
Mayor Dondon Alcala 's message reminds Lucenahin to remain vigilant, along with the call for all cooperation and discipline to overcome the pandemic, he also thank the Provincial Government for the free vaccination as a protection against any simple illness.
Meanwhile, for Governor Suarez at this time, what's needed is a so-called "sharing buddy" who 's ready to sympathize with the journeys, he said if someone has a problem with education or health, he'll take care of it as long as the person comes to his office. He also emphasized the importance of the reconciliation and unity of the Mayor, Congressman and Governor, especially in the face of the COVID-19 virus trial.
Today , despite the crisis, the provincial government continues to deliver programs and services to the province, and recent vaccinations have also been carried out in the cities of Sariaya, Gumaca and the provincial government.
