TAYABAS CITY - As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads uncertainty and hardship around the world and reaches in our community. The Rotary Club of Tayabas Central really epitomizes the “Service Above Self” mantra by showing that even at a distance, there are ways to help.
Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
As people of action, those “principles have been developed over the years to provide Rotarians with a strong, common purpose and direction” and to serve as a foundation for relationships with each other, as well as the action they take in the world. Those fundamental maxims, which are put to work daily by all Rotarians, have taken on new significance with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently, the Rotary Club of Tayabas Central convened to raise funds for school supplies and hygiene package to provide support on the development and reproduction of learning materials for blended learning such as self-learning kits and activity sheets and to ensure health safety of the learners and teachers of the Division of Tayabas City.
Rotary Club of Tayabas Central under Adopt A School Program of the City School Division of the City of Tayabas, ensure full support on the implementation of the Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) of the Department of Education amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
