BATANGAS CITY - Conducted by Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc., Shell Business Operations Women Empowered Network and Malampaya Foundation Inc. the turn-over ceremony of face masks for 16,180 students, health kits containing PPE suits, face masks, face shields and 15 internet modems for some schools in the Schools Division of Batangas City today, August 19.
Despite the closure of the 58-year-old Shell Tabangao Refinery in Batangas City, its leadership still showed concern for their host barangays by making the said donation to 11 elementary schools and four high schools in TALIM barangays.
Dr. Felizardo Bolanos, OIC-Schools Division Superintendent is very grateful for the great help given to them by the said company.
Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. also provided of two vehicles at Gulod National High School in support of its Automotive Servicing Curriculum.
According to Darlito Guamos, External Relations Manager of PSPC, the face masks, PPE suits and face shields are made by members of the SIBBAP cooperative of barangay Ambulong.
