LUCENA CITY - The well-known bakeshop owned by Susan Cerillo, located in Brgy. Ibabang Iyam, Lucena City, went viral on Facebook on Tuesday, August 4, when the famous break-up line-caught everyone's attention.

Susan's Homemade Cakes has been established in the city of Lucena for 30 years. Weddings, debuts, and a lot of big events have been canceled because of the pandemic, but when it comes to food, it's a must for everyone, that's why they're still thinking about how to market their business.

One of the best strategies they thought was a trendy dedication cake, and one of their works is on the internet when a photo of "Salamat nalang sa lahat" written on a cake was posted on Facebook. People thought it was a good-bye gift to a couple, but it wasn't.

According to Reinhold Cerillo, the youngest of 4 children of Susan, who’s in a relationship with a nurse who is assigned to COVID patients in one of the hospitals in Lucena City, They 're going to celebrate their monthsary.

Because of this pandemic, the only way he figured it would be for them to celebrate was to give him a dedication cake. Typically, the term is used by couples during breakups, although there is a double meaning for a couple. What he meant was, "Salamat nalang sa lahat ng sacrifice niya in the fight against COVID and hopefully negative and result next week's niya para magkita kami."

Days before the photo was posted, it went viral. Media outlets have begun to tell their story, and a lot of bakeshops have re-created this dedication cake. He also said they had got a number of queries from Metro Manila, Visayas , and Mindanao.

Despite the pandemic, you can think of ways to celebrate occasions, even without seeing each other, you just need to think about how to pull it off. Reinhold's advice to people who are in a medical frontline relationship, "Assure your partner that you love and support him or her no matter what happens."
