LUCENA CITY - Nine more "suspected" carriers of coronavirus desease (COVID-19) were reported to have died in different towns of Quezon province.
In its latest bulletin yesterday, the Quezon Public Information Office (QPIO) announced the incident but did not provide details.
The QPIO also reported the death of a patient classified as confirmed COVID-19 carrier.
It also said that the province recorded 14 more confirmed cases and recovery of 8.
So far, the QPIO said Quezon has a total of 1,184 confirmed cases including 716 recoveries, 39 deaths and 429 active cases.
As to the suspected cases, it said there are 4, 517 but 1,770 of which have been discharged, 1,645 have been cleared, 613 on home quarantine, 99 have died and 390 remain admitted.
Quezon remains under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) status except for this city which has been under MGCQ.
