Morong MSMEs receive DTI livelihood kits
Awarding of Sari Sari Store Livelihood Kits for Rizal Beneficiaries of DTI Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa: Together with DTI 4A Regional Director Marilou Toledo and Provincial Director Mercedes Parreño turnover these kits to families of fallen heroes, fire survivors and pandemic affected entrepreneurs. 


ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal and Morong Municipal Government spearhead the distribution of livelihood kits to Sari-sari Store Owners in Morong Rizal,

DTI Regional Director Marilou Toledo, DTI Rizal Provincial Director Mercy Parreño, Mayor Olivia De Leon, and Vice Mayor Julian Joseph De Ungria led the NSB Sari-sari Store Livelihood Kit awarding last September 18 at the Morong Municipal Hall's Audio-Visual Room, San Pedro, Morong, Rizal.



A total of 24 micro enterprises (MEs) from Barangays of Lagundi, Caniogan-Calero-Lanang, Maybancal, San Pedro, San Juan, San Jose, San Guillermo, and Bombongan received Sari-Sari Store livelihood kits worth Php 5,000.00 under the DTI’s Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).

This LSP-NSB program aims to provide assistance to qualified affected individuals that could aid, restore and improve their respective businesses in cushioning the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.



Prior to the awarding, beneficiaries underwent an orientation on LSP-NSB at Negosyo Center Morong while observing minimum health measures.

The said orientation comprised of 4 separate sessions recently held from September 15-16. (PIA-Rizal with reports from DTI-Rizal)
